Focus on Scholarship: Dr. Dan Florell

Dr. Dan Florell, Assistant Professor in EKU's Department of Psychology, is the Focus on Scholarship featured faculty member for the month of February 2012.  Dr. Florell received his PhD in School Psychology from Illinois State University in 2001.  He has been researching the prevalence and impact of cyberbullying in adolescents and school professionals for the past few years.

Seeking Colloquium Moderators

To encourage collegial and fun dialogue across disciplinary boundaries and curricular interests among faculty and students, EKU Libraries host hour-long, informally moderated Colloquiums on select Fridays in 2012 at 2 p.m. in the John Grant Crabbe Main Library Research and Instruction Commons Conference Room (204G).

Love sports? Check out SBRnet, a great online resource available through EKU Libraries.  SBRnet focuses on the sporting goods and sports marketing industry.  The site combines market research from the National Sporting Goods Association, the U.S.

Special Collections & Archives Featuring New Hours

Visit EKU's Special Collections & Archives beginning Monday, January 9, 2012 for a brand-new schedule to better suit the needs of the university community.  The space will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Hours

In observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 2012 Holiday, the John Grant Crabbe Main Library will feature modified hours on Sunday, January 15 and Monday, January 16.  On Sunday, the library will remain open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and then will open again on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m..

Winter Intersession Hours

Welcome back!  We hope everyone had a great 2011-12 winter break.  The John Grant Crabbe Main Library will re-open on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.  From Tuesday, January 3 through Friday, January 6, the Main Library will open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m.
