| Reference sources include a collection of materials such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, almanacs, atlases, statistical sources, and biographical sources. Reference materials are shelved in the Reference stacks in Room 206. Quick Reference materials are located at the Reference Desk. Reference titles are listed in the EKU Libraries eQuest online catalog. To limit a search on eQuest to sources located in Reference, set limits to Location: Reference before typing a search. |
| Computer Alcove |
| The Computer Alcove is located in the Lobby near the entrance to the Reference Room (Room 206). The Computer Alcove has computer workstations with public Internet access. These workstations have access to online Databases and Electronic Resources. |
| Periodical Index Collection |
| Periodical indexes are print sources containing indexing to magazine and journal articles and other sources. The Reference Periodical indexes are located in the Reference Room, Room 206, on the Index shelves. |
| Reference Abstract Collection |
| Reference Abstracts are indexing and abstracting sources to locate citations and abstract summaries for periodical articles and other materials. Examples of abstracts include Biological Abstracts, Chemical Abstracts, Sociological Abstracts, and Dissertation Abstracts. Abstracts are located in Room 204. |
| Career Collection |
| Job and career materials are located in the Reference Room, Room 206. |
