Fun, Food and Giveaways at the African American Read-In
In response to the weather-related cancellation of February’s African American Read-In, the event has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 22, 1-2p.m. at Powell Corner! Join us for food, fun and giveaways at this year’s African American Read-In. The Read-In is a powerful event celebrating the works of African American writers. You can join in the fun by reading a 3-5 minute excerpt from your favorite African American writer or you can simply come, listen and enjoy! Come and go as you please; no pre-registration is necessary.
