Observe the Sesquicentennial of the Civil War with EKU Libraries on Tuesday, October 25, 4:30-6 p.m. in the Research & Instruction Commons Discovery Classroom, as Charles Bracelen Flood discusses his brand-new book, Grant’s Final Victory: Ulysses S. Grant’s Heroic Last Year. Pulitzer Prize-nominated author, William C. Davis, has said of the book, “Flood has shown once more his mastery of narrating the most poignant and inspiring moments of our past."
Flood's presentation will be followed by a special reception, book sale and book signing.
