11/9: “Coal Country”

On Monday, November 9th at 6pm in room 108, the Madison County Chapter of Kentuckians for the Commonwealth will be screening COAL COUNTRY, a documentary about mountain-top removal coal mining.  It will be introduced by activist Teri Blanton, who is featured in the film.

    I’m really interested in seeing this film but I have class on Monday nights. Will there be any screenings on another night for people who have class/ other obligations?

    A DVD of the film should be available soon in our circulating media collection, down on the first floor of Crabbe Library.
