To get the persistent link for a document in PsychiatryOnline, first copy the DOI number for the article.  The DOI number is typically located near the document title, at the top of the page.

You will need to construct a URL using the DOI Number you copied.  Place the following text in front of the DOI Number: http://dx.doi.org/

Using the DOI Number in the example above, 10.1176/appi.books.9780890423349.9641, here is what the URL will look like:

http://dx.doi.org/10.1176/appi.books.9780890423349.9641

In order for this URL to work off-campus, you will need to add the proxy URL.  Here is what the complete persistent link willl look like with the proxy URL:

http://libproxy.eku.edu/login?url=http://dx.doi.org/10.1176/appi.books.9780890423349.9641
